✦ Synopsis

The aim of the meeting was to stimulate research and interaction of researchers interested in all aspects of linear and multilinear algebra, matrix analysis and applications, and to provide an opportunity for researchers to exchange ideas, recent developments and results on the subject.

More than 85 participants from 15 countries attended the conference. There were 68 talks altogether. In particular, the International Linear Algebra Society sponsored Roger Horn of the University of Utah as the ILAS lecturer of the meeting. He gave a 50 minute lecture on "Canonical Forms for Congruence".
