โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Summary: A set of new molecular descriptors, R~SC~, S~MC~, D~HB~ and M~PE~, which are obtained directly from polystyrenes monomer structures, are used to predict the T~g~ values of polystyrenes and generate a QSPR model by multiple linear stepwise regression analysis, with Rโ=โ0.959 and sโ=โ15.20 K. Compared with the existing QSPR models, the proposed model requires only four descriptors, which can be obtained by simple calculation and makes it more valuable to predict the T~g~ values of polymers.

## Abstract The glass transition temperature (__T__~g~) of acrylic and methacrylic random copolymers was investigated by means of Quantitative StructureโProperty Relationship (QSPR) methodology based on Recursive Neural Networks (RNN). This method can directly take molecular structures as input, in
We describe an original QSPR model called the EVM model (Energy, Volume, Mass) to calculate the glass transition temperature (T g ) of aliphatic acrylate and methacrylate homopolymers using classical molecular mechanics and dynamics. The latter was used to calculate an energy density function relate
