within one assay series on one day and during several days. The intra-assay reproducibility was 1-3%, the inter-assay reproducibility 1-5% RSD.

Preliminary experiments with serum samples have shown that there are no interferences and no sample pretreatment is necessary. The recovery from serum samples, spiked with 340 nmol/mL and 680 nmol/mL, was 102% and 96.2% with a reproducibility of 2% RSD.
