โฆ Synopsis
High-power diode end-pumped continuous-wave Tm:LiLuF4 laser was demonstrated with different output couplers. At the absorbed pump power of 27.2 W, the maximum output power of 7.3 W around 1916 nm was obtained with the output transmission of 10%. The optical conversion efficiency is 26.9%, corresponding to a slope efficiency of 32.3%. Compared with Tm:YLF, Tm:LiLuF 4 crystal shows potential characteristics for high power laser operation.
