## Abstract We have earlier demonstrated that inhibition of polyamine biosynthesis with difluoromethylornithine (DFMO) can be used to enhance the cytotoxicity of herpes simplex virus thymidine kinase/ganciclovir (HSVโ€TK/GCV) gene therapy in different tumor cell lines.
