We report on a Brazilian girl, born to a diabetic mother, and presenting with atypical prefpostaxial acrofacial dysostosis, nosologically related to the Genee-Wiedemann syndrome. Clinical and genetic aspects of this acrofacial dysostosis and its relationship to diabetic embryopathy are discussed.
