โฆ Synopsis
non-solderable surfaces for soldering. #3030 can be soldered to, with conventional tin-lead solders. The paint is tack free and fully conductive in 15 to 30 rain. It is completely dry in 16 hr. at 25 C. An elevated temperature of 175 C. reduces complete drying time to ยฝ hr.
Manufacturers of thin-film metal resistors can use silver-filled paint to connect leads to the heat-sensitive metal fihn. After the resistor leads are imbedded in the ceramic base material, a conductive path can be painted between the lead and the thin metal film. This procedure offers two important advantages: (1) damaging soldering temperatures are avoided; and (2) Connections are made quickly and easily.
