The acrosome of Macaca fascicularis sperm cannot be distinguished by conventional light microscopy, so determining whether sperm are acrosome-intact or -reacted is difficult. We describe methods for labeling the acrosomal region of sperm with two different probes: f luoresceinated Pisum sativum aggl
