✦ Synopsis
This paper is concerned on the issue of delimiting population regionals in India on the basis of selected and basic population variables. This defines the types of regions at two planes (1) measuring in the context of 16 variables of population elements at district level and (2) the identification of areas having responses of selected blocks of variables measured from the administrative States/Union territories (Uts) levels of the country. A defined method of score assessment has been employed which displays characteristic and clean grouping of districts in each. This delimitation of regionals of population conveys significance as interpreted with traits of magnitudes which may be helpful for geographers, demographers, sociologists and statisticians for further integrated enquiries.
