✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [Zn(C 8 H 4 O 4 )(C 13 H 14 N 2 )] n , each Zn atom is coordinated by two terephthalate and two 1,3-di-4pyridylpropane ligands in a distorted tetrahedral fashion. As a result, undulating layers are formed perpendicular to the b axis.
