โฆ Synopsis
Poly(vinylpyridine N-oxide) supported dichromates are readily prepared and used as new efficient oxidizing reagents for various organic compounds such as alcohols, oximes, amines and thiols. In contrast to their monomeric analogue, pyridine N-oxide dichromate, these reagents are quite stable, have easier reaction work-up and can be regenerated. Poly(2-vinylpyridine N-oxide) supported dichromate is more efficient than its poly(4-isomer).
