✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A method is described for preparing oriented monodomains of phospholipids multilayers from which polarized Raman spectra can be obtained. Typical polarized Raman spectra are shown and the band intensity changes are briefly discussed.

## Abstract Polarized Raman and IR spectra of a single KY(MoO~4~)~2~ crystal were measured in the 10–4000 cm^βˆ’1^ region and discussed in relation to the molecular and crystal structures.
