## Abstract Polarized Raman and IR spectra of a single KY(MoO~4~)~2~ crystal were measured in the 10β4000 cm^β1^ region and discussed in relation to the molecular and crystal structures. Spectroscopic data enabled us to reveal additional intermolecular interactions due to pair coupling of the molyb
The low-temperature form of K 3 Sm(PO 4 ) 2 crystallizes in the glaserite type. The Raman and infrared spectra have been investigated: they are consistent with the proposed space monoclinic system [a = 7.4347(5) A Λ, b = 5.6270(5) A Λ, c = 9.4919(5) A Λ, Ξ² = 90.870(6)Β°, Z = 2, space group P2 1 /m].
