Infrared and polarized Raman spectra of (NH4)JH(S04)1 have been recorded and analysed. Multiple bands are observed for the vibrational modes of SO:-and NH: groups. HSO; and SO:-ions are found to coexist with vibrational interaction between them. NH: ion is not rotating freely in the lattice.
## Abstract Polarized Raman and IR spectra of a single KY(MoO~4~)~2~ crystal were measured in the 10โ4000 cm^โ1^ region and discussed in relation to the molecular and crystal structures. Spectroscopic data enabled us to reveal additional intermolecular interactions due to pair coupling of the molyb
