โœฆ Synopsis

Polarization characteristics of a SBS phase conjugation in multimode fibers with different core sizes and fiber lengths are investigated experimen-ลฝ . tally. A degree of polarization DOP of the Stokes wave becomes better as a fiber becomes shorter and is recovered more than 95% in 0.5 m fibers with different core size. The averaged DOP keeps more than 90% even in fibers with 200 m length. A direction of a linear polarization of the SBS phase conjugation coincides with that of an incident light, independent of the fiber length and thickness.

In this paper, in regard to the polarization splitter made of two single-core fibers (Fiber 1 and Fiber 2) coupled, the structural parameters and the relationship between the device length and the bandwidth are studied for the xpolarization type and the y-polarization type. Transmission coefficients over construction obstacles have been measured with normal incidence in the 5.8 GHz frequency band. It has been shown that, for some materials, this coefficient depends on the polarization, on the frequency, and on the material sample considered. So, obtaining the transmiss
