## Abstract Monolithic capillary columns for hydrophobic interaction chromatography (HIC) have been prepared by thermally initiated, single‐step __in situ__ polymerization of mixtures of monovinyl monomers including butyl methacrylate and/or 2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate, with a divinyl crosslinker g
