β¦ Synopsis
The kinetics of exchange of the whole molecule between salvation sphere of A13+ and bulk at A1(C104)3 in CH30D, CH3CD20D and CD3CH20D has been studied by means of line-shape analysis of.PMR spectra of methyl and methylene groups. The activation enthalpy A H 4 of 65 kJ/mol for methanol and 52 kJ/mol for ethanol were found.
The exchange at 25'C is about 70 times faster for ethanol than for methanol.
' and CH ' signals of 2 ethanol from the salvation sphere are broad and overlapped with multiplets of

Periodic current/potential curves were measured potentiostatically on smooth electrodes of platinum, iridium, rhodium, and gold at 30 mV/s in perchloric acid solutions with different additions of methanol (10e3 M to 1 M). Information on methanol adsorption was obtained from impedance measurements at
Reaction kinetics of 1-chloro-2,4-dinitrobenzene with piperidine was studied spectrophotometrically in aqueous solutions of methanol, ethanol, and propan-2-ol at 25ΠC. The reaction in these solutions is not catalyzed by piperidine. The plots of second-order rate constants of the reaction vs. mole fr
Stopped-flow Fourier-transform NMR and conventional NMR line broadening experiments have been used to determine rate data for dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) exchange with the [M(DMSO),] " ions (M = Al(III), Ga(III)) in nitromethane-d3 solution over a temperature range of 105 K (Al/III)) and 112 K (Ga-(I
