✦ Synopsis

A preliminary investigation of polymers prepared by RF and microwave glow discharge techniques is described. The polymer composition structure as revealed by ESCA is discussed and differences are shown to be subtle rather than major. Microwave prepared polymers are more sensitive to the operating conditions than the corresponding RF prepared polymers.

## Abstract A comparison of slurry sampling (SS)‐ETV‐ICP‐MS and slurry nebulization (SN)‐ICP‐MS for direct determination of trace impurities in titanium dioxide powder is made. The particle size effect, matrix effect and analytical characteristics of SSETV‐ICP‐MS and SN‐ICP‐MS are compared. The res

## Abstract In this work, an ordered mesoporous titania film was introduced to coat a capillary by means of sol–gel technique. Sol–gel titania coating was developed for the preconcentration/separation of trace V, Cr and Cu by capillary microextraction (CME), and the adsorbed analytes were eluted fo
