✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, C~4~H~12~N~2~
^2+^·HAsO~4~
^2−^·H~2~O, the component species interact by way of N—H...O and O—H...O hydrogen bonds, the latter leading to infinite sheets of HAsO~4~
^2−^ anions and water molecules containing R
~6~
^6^(18) loops. The asymmetric unit contains one anion, one water molecule and half each of two centrosymmetric cations.
