AL the enrraes or IR 2. 19 5 and 21.1 eV_ small broad peaks were recognized and renwrively assigned LO the vcrruzal ioniwhon pokntlals or the l'A,_ "El, snd ?'A? cleclromc s1aW.s or Lhe HIS+ ion. respecl~ely_ by companng with the reccnL ab iniuo cnlculaGons [or the H2S' cnera diagram.

The absolute N2 photoabsorption cross section is measured between the onset at 400.8 eV and 450 eV photon energy using synchrotron radiation.
