✦ Synopsis
The synthesis and coordination chemistry of 2-(2-pyridyl)-been characterized by X-ray analysis. Ruthenium, mangaphosphinines and 2,2'-biphosphinines are reviewed. A note-nese and rhenium chelates were also obtained. With worthy series of homoleptic complexes of 4,4',5,5'-tetrame-Mn,(CO)lo, a (tmbp)-Mn,(CO), complex is formed where thyl-Z,2'-biphosphinine (tmbp) with Cr(O), Mo(O), Wo(0) and tmbp acts as an eight electron donor.
