β¦ Synopsis
The neutron-weighted phonon density of states in the high-temperature superconductor TI2CaBa2Cu208 (T c = 107 K) is obtained from coherent inelastic neutron scattering measurements at the Dhruva reactor at 300 K. The phonon spectrum is qualitatively similar to that in the 90K superconductor YBa2Cu307, and compares well with an independent lattice dynamical calculation.

The DC Josephson effect between grains in YBa2Cua07 and TI2CaBa2Cu20e sinters was investigated. DC SQUID operation was detected in two geometries up to T = 86 K and T = 101 K respectively. The results are consistent with the assumption that the grain boundaries are S-N-S or S-S'-S junctions and that
