The phase equilibria in the LaCoO 3 +LaMnO 3 +BaCoO z + BaMnO 3 system were studied at 11003C in air by powder X-ray di4ractometry of quenched samples. The existence of three phases in the BaCo 1؊y Mn y O 3؊ system was con5rmed. Two of these phases are homogeneous in the range 0.154y40.30 and 0.384y
