Non-enzymatic glycosylation (NEG) of collagen has been previously shown to signiยฎcantly inยฏuence the reactive oxygen metabolism (ROM) of phagocytic cells in healthy subjects. Considering the role of NEG in the pathophysiology of diabetes, we have further analysed the oxidative metabolism of polymorp
