✦ Synopsis

Abstract

The rate constants of peroxy radical recombination in the oxidation of 1‐methyl‐3‐phenylindan, 1,3‐dimethyl‐3‐phenylindan, and 1,1‐dimethyl‐3‐phenylindan were measured using the nonstationary‐state technique. A cooxidation method was applied to obtain the reactivities of these compounds with respect to α‐phenylethyl peroxy radicals.
