## Abstract Two new pentacyclic triterpenoids, named centelloside D (**1**) and centelloside E (**9**), together with the seven known compounds **2**–**8**, were isolated from the whole plants of __Centella asiatica.__ Compound **5** was reported for the first time from this genus. Their structures
