## Abstract This study demonstrates that the pex portion of a typical 42ยฐ conically lined shaped charge is not being efficiently utilized. In fact, approximately 40% of the liner height at the apex end of the cone does not provide an efficient jet as far as penetration depth is concerned. In this p
