β¦ Synopsis
Patterned colloidal crystals have been fabricated by a liftβup soft lithography method based on the selective transfer of a single layer of closeβpacked microspheres from the crystal film to the protruding surface of a poly(dimethylsiloxane) stamp. The Figure shows a scanning electron microscopy image of the ordered square array in the top layer of a 3D colloidal crystal that was produced using a twoβstep liftβup process.
