โฆ Synopsis
Palladium/copper (I) halide catalyzed cross couplings of (E)-and (Z)-I,2difluorovinyistannanes with aryl iodides and vinyl halides proceeded at room temperature to stereospecifically give 1,2-disubstituted-l,2-difluoroolef'ms and 1,2difluoro or 1,2,3,4-tetrafluorosubstituted dienes in good to excellent yields.

Cross-coupling of 1-fluorovinylstannanes with aryl iodides or acyl chlorides, cocatalyzed by palladium and copper (I) iodide proceeded under mild conditions to give substituted fluoro oleflns and ot-fluoro-ct,~-unsaturated ketones, respectively, in good yields with retention of configuration.
Coupling reaction of aryl and vinyl halides with terminal alkynes using a catalyst system of copper(I) iodide -triphenylphosphine proceeds efficiently in the presence of potassium carbonate to give the corresponding unsymmetrical acetylenes in good yield.
