✦ Synopsis
PdC12(PPh3) catalyses, under very mild conditions, the cls-hydrostonnation of ocetylenic compounds by trlbutyltin hydride and the hydrostannolytic cleavage of proporgyl carboxylates, phosphates, carbonates and corbamotes. The latter reactlon should find use in protective group chemistry.

The ally1 group is shown to be orthogonal to the most comnonly used phosphate protecting groups. In some cases, the ally1 and ollyloxycarbonyl groups may be selectively cleaved, under palladium-catalysis, in the presence of the propargyl and proporgyloxycarbonyl groups.
