## Abstract Deep brain stimulation (DBS) has gained widespread acceptance for improving motor function and disability in Parkinson's disease (PD). Patients with features suggestive of atypical parkinsonism (AP) usually have a poorer and less sustained response to levodopa and a poorer prognosis ove
