✦ Synopsis
25/27 patients are alive, while 2 patients died before D100. 15/24 patients reached metabolic remission. All of them are in complete remission at the time of evaluation after a median follow-up time of 515 (range 342 773) days. In 2/8 PETpositive patients rebiopsy proved progression or relapse. In 1/8 patient further scans raised the possibility of false PETpositivity. In additional 1/8 PET-positive patient progression or relapse became clinically evident. In additional 4/8 PET-positive patients rebiopsy and/or further PET-CT scans are planned. A negative PET-CT scan after SCT seems to be a favourable factor for cure in refractory or relapsed HD, but further investigation is needed. However, in the cases of positive post-transplant PET scans, rebiopsy or further (PET-CT) scans are warranted to exclude false positivity.
