## Abstract Blood concentrations of oxytocin (OT), vasopressin (VP) and their associated neurophysins were measured before and after the first electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) given to 12 depressed patients. The maximum concentrations of all four peptides coincided at +2 min, but the increases in OT
