โฆ Synopsis
Second-order "0 (I = 5/2) hyperfme structure has been observed in the zero-field optically-detected magnetic resonance spectrum of the lowest triplet state of benzophenone. A preliminary analysis of these results su=ests that the n electron is highly localized on the oxygn atom.
We wish to report the observation and preliminary analysis of oxygen-l 7 hyperfme structure in the zerofield (zf) optically-detected magnetic resonance (OCMR) spectrum of the lowesr triplet state of benzophenone (BP). The experiments were performed at 1.4 K on single crysrals of 4,4'-dibromodiphenylether (DDE) containing @.I mole 5% of an isotopically-enriched guest ('GO-BP, 49.5; 170-BP, 1 l-3; l80-BP 38.3 f 0.50/c) obtained from Miles-Yeda, Ltd.

We have observed temperaturedependent X-trap phosphorescence in &He crystals doped with CsD6. The observed Xtrap is identified as CeHe which is perturbed by the presence of C6De in a nearest-neighbor crystal site. Zero-field opticalmicrowave double resonance measurements on the X-traps give for the
