โฆ Synopsis
The oxidative decarboxylation of aryl, a, a-diaryl, or arylalkylacetic acids has been achieved by a 2-nitrobenzenesulfonyl peroxy radical intermediate (1) generated by the reaction of 2-nilrobenzenesulfonyl chloride with potassium superoxide at -20"(3 in dry acetonitrile.
