An essential knowledge management element is an organization's network for sharing information. This article describes Organization Network Analysis, a tool that enables companies to map the information exchanges among employees and determine how to identify and leverage knowledge brokers and boundary spanners, and to integrate cliques, bottlenecks and isolated groups.
