## Abstract Ferrous, cobalt and nickel benzylidene picramates have been prepared by treating the corresponding aqueous sulphate and chloride solutions with sodium salt of 4β²βdimethyIaminobenzylideneβ2βhydroxyβ 3.5βdinitroaniline. A metal: ligand ratio of 1:2 has been established in all these cases
