An analytical method for the determination of iron, cobalt, nickel, and copper in aluminum fluoride has been described. The insolubility of \(\mathrm{AlF}_{3}\) in inorganic acids makes it necessary to separate these metals by leaching them with \(\mathrm{HNO}_{3}\). The metals that leached out were
