The application of quadratic programming to the design of digitally compensated control systems is described and illustrated with three examples.
Previous papers (1, 2) discuss in detail the application of linear programming to the design of digitally compensated control systems with deterministic inputs and give a number of examples. Here the application of the more general and more powerful method of quadratic programming (3) is presented. Comparisons are made urith the results obtained by linear programming design.
