S i x new complexes o f the t y p e [C5H5Mo(CO)2NN*]PF6 have been p r e p a r e d by t r e a tment o f C5H5Mo(C0)3C1 w i t h t h e S c h i f f b a s e s NN*, d e r i v e d from 2 -a c e t y l p y r i d i n e o r 2-benzoyl p y r i d i n e and c h i r a l amines ( C 6 H 5 ) , and (CH3) ( C 2 H 5 ) . The S c h i f f b a s e s NN* c o n t a i n a c h i r a l amine component i n i t s racemic form ( R ' ) / ( S ' ) . T h e r e f o r e , i n c o m b i n a t i o n w i t h t h e Mo c h i r a l i t y ( R ) and ( S ) a m i x t u r e o f d i a s t e r e o i s o m e r i c p a i r s of e n a n t i o m e r s (RS' ) / (SR' ) and (SS' ) / ( R R ' ) i s o b t a i n e d .
