β¦ Synopsis
Optical Properties of MnInzSe,
Recently, it has been found that single crystals of the ternary compound MnIn,Se, can be grown by chemical transport using iodine as the transporting agent (KHAN, BRITO). A structural analysis showed that MnIn,Se, crystallizes in an orthorhombic lattice with space group CtV and 16 molecular units per unit cell. The lattice parameters of MnIn,Se, as determined by both the Debye-Schemer method and X-ray diffraction on single crystals are a = 1.3252 nm, b = 1.2473 nm, c = 1.6653 nm and a = 1.3270 nm, b = 1.2480 nm, c = 1.6654 nm, respectively. In the present conimunication first
