β¦ Synopsis
The absorption and emission spectra of Pr 3+ :YLF crystal were measured respectively. The results demonstrated that Pr 3+ :YLF crystal has promising properties to produce visible laser directly. In laser experiments, a pulsed Pr 3+ :YLF laser operated at 639.4 nm using a dye laser as pump source was reported. Maximum output energy of 142 ΞΌJ, a pulse width of 15 ns and a peak power of 9.5 kW were obtained with the output coupler transmissivity of 7%.

Laser crystal Nd:CaNb 2 O 6 with excellent quality has been grown by Czochralski technique. The effective segregation coefficient of Nd 3+ was studied by X-ray fluorescence method. The polarized absorption spectra and the fluorescence spectra of Nd:CaNb2O6 were measured at room temperature. The peak
High quality Nd 3+ -doped Lu 2 SiO 5 (Nd:LSO) crystal has been grown by the Czochralski technique. The cell parameters were analyzed with X-ray diffraction (XRD). Room temperature absorption and fluorescence spectra and fluorescence lifetime of the Nd:LSO crystal were measured and analyzed. The Judd
