## Abstract The role of the sublattice spin non‐collinearity in antiferrodielectrics (AFD) in exciton‐magnon pair absorption is investigated using exciton theory. An expression for the effective dipole moment of the pair transition of AFD is obtained depending on the value of the external magnetic
