This paper presents the analysis of the spectra of SiDF 3 in its vibrational ground and v 4 ϭ 1 states. The pure rotational spectrum of the ground state was measured up to 903 GHz ( JЉ ϭ 65). Rotational, quartic, and sextic centrifugal distortion constants were accurately determined. Furthermore the

✦ Synopsis
Using optical-optical double resonance techniques the rotational assignment of the A ˜2A 2 -X ˜2B 2 system of Na 3 could be extended to transitions involving vibrationally excited levels in the A state. About 30 measured transition frequencies were fitted, using the Hamiltonian of an asymmetric rotor and including spin-rotation interaction. The averaged geometry of the sodium trimer in the vibrationally excited A ˜state was derived from the rotational constants. Vibrational classification of the observed A ˜-X ˜bands from a Jahn-Teller analysis by Dugourd et al. (J. Chem. Phys. 93, 2322) is discussed.

The two lowest vibrational states of 35 Cl 35 ClO 2 , v 4 = 1 (A ) and v 6 = 1 (A ), were investigated between 223 and 500 GHz. More than 250 rotational transitions were recorded with J and K a up to 71 and 34, respectively. The spectra are heavily perturbed by strong c-type and weaker a-type Coriol
The extended stretch-bender Hamiltonian, incorporating spin-orbit coupling and overall rotation, has been used to calculate the spin-vibronic structure of the rovibronic energies in the region where the vibronic states of the excited à 2 A 1 electronic state of NH 2 interact with near-resonant high-
The near-infrared absorption spectra of the FeC radical have been measured by diode laser spectroscopy in the regions from 11 810 to 13 200 cm -1 . Rotationally resolved 28 new vibronic bands of the 56 Fe 12 C major isotopic species were observed as well as two known bands. Five of them were assigne
