✦ Synopsis
OODR spectroscopy has been applied in the study of the G 'X+ state of BaCl, where a tunable Ti: sapphire laser was used in a second excitation step to determine the term values. A rotational analysis was performed and molecular constants were derived. The result shows that there is no strong or simple perturbation relation between the G state and the previously investigated G' *ll state.
