## Abstract A new linear chain complex of oxo‐centered trinuclear manganese clusters, [{Mn^III^~2~Mn^II^O(O~2~CCHCl~2~)~6~(H~2~O)}{Mn(O~2~CCHCl~2~)~2~(H~2~O)~4~}]~__n__~ (1), has been synthesized by treatment of a mixture of Mn(OAc)~2~Β·4H~2~O and dichloroacetic acid in dichloromethane with KMnO~4~.
