The temperature dependence of viscosity of the liquid model is found to correspond with the observed viscosity above 1.8ยฐK, and with the discontinuity in the temperature derivative of viscosity at the lambda

โฆ Synopsis
The authors remeasured the viscosity of liquid helium with a somewhat improved apparatus. The method was that of the oscillating disc. Results obtained in the neighbourhood of the lambda-point are only given. These results make it probable that a discontinuity of the viscosity at the lambdapoint does not exist.

An apparatus for the measurement of the viscosity of liquids and gases, interchangeably, is described. Measurements of the viscosity of liquid helium made with this apparatus are reported. The measurements were made over the temperature range from 1.2 to 4.0oK.
