The paper deals with the boundary value problem for a nonlinear integro-differential equation modeling the dynamic state of the Timoshenko beam. To approximate the solution with respect to a spatial variable, the Galerkin method is used, the error of which is estimated.

## Abstract In this article, Galerkin's method is used to obtain approximate eigenvalues for several isosceles triangles. Validation is achieved by comparison with results obtained using FEMLAB and via fullβwave electromagnetic computer simulation. The Galerkin method is accurate and relatively eas
## Abstract In this paper issues related to the imposition of essential boundary conditions in Natural Neighbour Galerkin methods are addressed. Both Sibson and nonβSibson interpolants ability to exactly reproduce essential boundary conditions is investigated and a new analytical condition ensuring
