Abstract
In this article, Galerkin's method is used to obtain approximate eigenvalues for several isosceles triangles. Validation is achieved by comparison with results obtained using FEMLAB and via full‐wave electromagnetic computer simulation. The Galerkin method is accurate and relatively easy to code. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
