We investigate the nucleon's twist-3 spin structure functions based on QCD. Explicit definitions of relevant twist-3 parton distributions are given as nucleon matrix elements of nonlocal light-cone operators, and their renormalization and the Q2-evolution are discussed. We show that the twist-3 part
